The beach at Bear Creek Cottages has beautiful blonde sand. Its sandy bottom makes it a swimmer's paradise! It has a natural progression of depth, making it safer for the youngest of swimmers. The sunsets are out of this world. Top notch sunsets happen almost every summer's night and everyone brings a collection of vibrant colours. The sun sets to the left of the bay. There is a cute little island that is steps away from the shoreline. It's a great place to explore and paddle to.
Kayaks are provided free of charge to our guests and guests must wear a proper fitting life jacket while using the boats. The guests like to explore the bay and its numerous rock islands, and some head up the creek to take in creek-life. Paddleboards, canoes, kayaks, water toys and rafts are all welcome and can be stored along side your cottage.
The beach has two oversized bonfire pits that are communal. Guests can play guitar, roast marshmallows, make s'mores and more at the bonfires. It is a nice to time to get to know your neighbour or spend quality time with friends and family.
The beach in the winter transforms into a skidoo trail that leads out to the Bear Creek Cottages' ice fishing cabins. It is a frozen highway that still offers the best sunsets! Sunsets are year-round!
